Where The Best Get Better
National Tourism Council

Picture the scene: dawn breaks across over desert sands as we set up at base camp at the Inland Sea. Neymar, Buffon, Di María, and Thiago Silva arrive at the Edge set – you can imagine our excitement… four footballing superstars!

We pinch ourselves – and then set to work with Grid to create a truly iconic TVC for Qatar’s National Tourism Authority.

What a day.

We open on a stunning vista, as these elite players utilise the desert to train, pushing themselves further than ever before. The camera follows as they run across the desert’s expanse, tackling dunes and conquering steep uphills..

Why? Well…

Where do you go when you’ve achieved everything – but want to keep pushing further?

Qatar, of course.

Premiered on CNN, ‘Where The Best Get Better’ is taking the internet by storm.

Essence of Qatar
Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA)

Distinctly different and with a strong sense of creative artistry and cinematic musical immersion, the film reveals to the discerning traveller the ‘Essence of Qatar’ by capturing the country’s warmth of soul and spirit of vision.  Played on a wide range of channels and at venues all over the world, we also produced a series of 30- and 60-second TVCs.

Major film awards have been won at Cannes, New York, London, and Hamburg.

Since it was released, the film has received over 341,000 views on Facebook alone.

National Day
GCO

We‘ve been working regularly with Qatar’s Government Communications Office for a while now – one of our more recent projects was the creation of this pride film to celebrate Qatar National Day.

We created an innovative 3D studio space where we interviewed 12 ministers including Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Brand Film
Mwani Qatar

Qatar is currently going through a major transformation with some of the most ambitious and prestigious infrastructure projects the world has ever seen. A new airport, a rail/road network and new cities such as Lusail, will change the face of Qatar as well as the lives of the people who live there for generations to come.

Mwani Qatar’s management of Hamad Port, Al-Ruwais Port and Doha Port is part of this story. A new suite of commercial container ports that promises to strengthen Qatar’s links to the world.

This short brand film tells Mwani Qatar’s visionary story.

Dear Qatar
Ogilvy/Qatar Post

The organization recently went through a ‘modern transformation’ process in order to build a sustainable, more contemporary embracing postal sector. By doing so they also hope to build a connected society in Qatar and to connect their nation to the world.

To help raise awareness of Qatar Post’s new brand identity and core values (reliability, effectiveness, openness, modernity and excellence) they required a film. ‘Dear Qatar’ marks a new beginning for the postal services of Qatar.

Orientation Film (3D Environment)
Saruq Hadid

We created this striking visual content for several spaces within Saruq Al- Hadid Archaeological museum. The museum showcases the latest and most important archaeological finds in SAH, a location in the desert just outside Dubai, deemed to be the most important archaeological discovery in this part of the world. The films created serve multiple purposes from telling the story of this discovery, introducing visitors to the theories and questions surrounding the archaeological site to providing the visitors with an immersive, informative and educational experience.

Room 3 Virtual Environment (Arabic)
Saruq Hadid

A further example of the visual content we created for several spaces within Saruq Al- Hadid Archaeological museum.

The main objectives of the ‘Room 3’ film was to create a sense of mystery and awe, whilst giving visitors an understanding that there is still so much to learn from ongoing investigations at the site. What the visitors will experience at the museum is just a taste of what is to come.

Mathematics Gallery
Science Museum

The Science Museum’s aim is to be the leading international museum championing the understanding, enjoyment and prestige of science in modern society.

Mathematics is often perceived as dry and complex. However the David and Claudia Harding Gallery, designed by the world renowned architect Zaha Hadid, tells stories that place the subject at the heart of our lives, exploring how mathematicians, their tools and ideas have helped to shape the modern world.

To help support the launch they required a film that would help showcase the architectural beauty of the Mathematics Gallery. The film has since been used as a press asset and as a stand-alone promotional tool for the gallery on their website and on their social media channels.

JOUD – Trailer
Saudi Aramco

A 1-hour feature documentary film produced entirely in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, JOUD uses an experimental story structure derived from a pre-Islamic form of poetry, the Qasida : “an ancient poem for modern times”.

Filmed entirely within the Kingdom, the film journeys deep within the soul and fabric of an experience often hidden to the outside world.

Our hand-picked creative team filmed on location for 6 months, working with local cast and crew.

1001 Inventions & The Library of Secrets
The Foundation for Science, Technology & Civilisation

Starring Sir Ben Kingsley as Al-Jazari – a master engineer from the 13th Century – our film reveals the huge impact on the world that’s been made by the inventions and discoveries of Muslim inventors and scientists throughout history. Launched in London, the exhibition has travelled across the world and continues to achieve astounding success.

Guardians of the Skies
NATS

NATS wanted a film that would elevate external perceptions beyond simply being at the ‘head of the field’, and be seen a pioneering company leading the way into the future of the industry. Our solution was to create a futuristic, 3D CGI world which brings NATS’ vision to life. Within this visually-stunning environment, our presenter guides the audience through the company’s ambitions, all the while interacting with the world around her. The spectacular visuals are underpinned by an ethereal music score, reinforcing the futuristic, innovative feel of the film.
