Our aim was to bring to life HSBC’s objective of showing how unnecessary it is to carry two devices in the workplace. We approached this by producing a film that is playful, fun and more importantly sticks in people’s minds. The comedic and over-exaggerated performances from our actors allowed us to move away from what employees might expect from a ‘corporate film’. This played a huge part in garnering attention and making it memorable. ‘Bring Your Own Device’ has a carefully scripted voiceover but has also been designed to grab attention on screens without sound.
HSBC recently introduced their new BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) initiative in an attempt to get their employees to use their personal iPhones or tablets, instead of their company Blackberry’s.
