Epson is a world-leading, technology based company dedicated to the development, manufacturing, sales, marketing and servicing of information-related equipment electronic devices and precision products . During 2009 Epson rolled out a series of promotional events in Europe to mark its sponsorship of the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics, Berlin 2009 and then on into other European IAAF events running through 2009, on until 2011.
Epson was given the opportunity to produce a short 30 second ‘sales’ film to screen in all of the athletics stadia with which it was associated. Aimed at the many thousands of spectators attending the various athletics meetings, the result uses special slow motion photography to produce an eye-catching film which cleverly and subtly links athletics to the company itself. At the same time subtly reinforcing Epson’s brand proposition Exceed Your Vision – a reference to its professional quality products (printers, scanners, projectors etc.).
