Please see a selection of films below

True Hospitality for All

IHG asked us to create a launch film for their new brand messaging: True Hospitality for Everyone. We interviewed a plethora of colleagues from across the Group’s 12 brands, including Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn, including the CEO, chefs, General Managers, bell boys etc.

Filmed in hotels in London, Dubai, New York and Beijing and making use of our significant expertise in conducting great interviews, our film provides an inspiring showcase of the global nature of IHG’s business and – most importantly – their people!

Behind The Barr

This film was designed to introduce Keith Barr, IHG’s new CEO, on his first day in a friendly and informal manner.

M Social
Millennium Hotels

Our mission for this film is to show in a teaser trailer, the new M SOCIAL boutique hotel specially designed for the Millennial generation. This is people born between 1980 and 2015. The first hotel to be built is in Singapore closely followed by cities such as Melbourne. M Social has seen that the boutique hotel has changed and they deliver a unique cool, vibrant yet relaxing hotel experience that our teaser must mirror in s simple yet exciting way. We must also make sure that we are on the zeitgeist of now, giving the viewer a flavour of the design, the aspirational and modern style M Social has.

Dorchester Collection

The Dorchester Academy needed a film that worked as a recruitment film for all ages and positions. The film is an overview of all 5 stages of the Dorchester Academy (1.Engage, 2 Core, 3. Lead, 4. Expand, 5. Inspire). The films showcase the learning that is offered by the Dorchester Collection Academy, both class-room based learning and on-the-job training.

Our Journey

From their humble beginnings in the basement of a house in Kingston, ACS has always been a family business and continues to be to this day.  Our challenge was to devise a solution that would tell their incredible story with little available archive footage. We came up with a docu-animation format which allowed us to explore their story in a warm, human way.

Bathroom Poetry
Villeroy & Boch

Villeroy & Boch are one of the world’s leading ceramics manufacturers, assures outstanding standards in quality and design since 1748. We regularly create inspiring short films with leading names from the design and fashion industries to help them promote their luxury bathroom and premium porcelain products.

Senses of Qatar
Qatar Tourism Authority

At The Edge we’re incredibly proud to have produced QTA’s new ‘destination brand’ film, directed by Leonardo Dalessandri, which premiered at the World Travel Market in London recently.

Distinctly different and with a strong sense of artistry and cinematic musical immersion, Qatar’s first ever ‘destination brand’ film reveals to the discerning traveller the ”Essence of Qatar”, by capturing the country’s warmth of soul and spirit of vision.

QTA’s Chief Marketing & Promotions Officer, Mr Rashed Al Qurese, added, “The introduction of our destination brand is a major milestone in our on-going undertaking to establish Qatar amongst the world’s top premium destinations. The brand will unify and strengthen communications to stakeholders, tour operators, hoteliers and other related industries revealing Qatar to an international audience. It provides a strong, memorable and consistent visual identity that underscores and exemplifies that aspiration.”

Foster & Partners

World-renowned architects Foster + Partners asked us to create a film for an exclusive residential development in Mumbai: Worli. Filming in ultra high-definition (5K resolution on a RED Epic camera), we created live action scenes to integrate into photorealistic CGI backgrounds of a building that does not yet exist. Careful planning and a sophisticated shooting process ensured the blend of live action and computer-generated imagery was seamless. The film is now being shown in a bespoke visitor experience on site on a screen over 16 metres across.
